Ben and Martin are looking over a fine Swiftsure Bank catch during August, the best fishing month there.

When a salmon is hooked in the tail, dogfish can prey upon it voraciously. Martin has enough meat left on his catch for about one salmon sandwich.

George and his son, Denis, caught four halibut. Yes, George made the jig he's holding. The halibut held by Captain Paul was interrupted during an octopus meal.

Captain Paul and Beth from Houston, Texas.  She has just reeled in a 35 pound spring a  tyee.  Tyee is a word resembling the scream of the reel (or maybe the scream of the angler).

Beth has just landed a 35 pound tyee. She hails from Houston, Texas. Springs above 30 pounds are called "tyees", a word resembling the scream of the reel (or maybe the scream of the angler).
